Default Rainy weather coyotes

Coyotes are breeding right now here in Alabama, got one the other evening right before dark. Had 3 big packs howling away at me, way more fun than deer hunting by far. Anyway, I'm kinda new with coyotes, how does the rain affect them?

Me and a buddy just went coyote hunting in the rain a couple days ago. no luck, but what it seems like is you're better off rain hunting in a very light drizzle, almost just a mist. if it's raining too hard, they'll bed down and won't come out.
