Is there fox in ne alabama?!?!
 

Im gettin frusterated because im not catching any fox!Ive never seen 1,never seen a fox track!Im being careful not to git my scent around the trap area,WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?Im using mackeral and honey for bait,and putting red fox p on the backing,im starting to wonder if theres fox in my area!I know theres bobcat and coyotes in the area,cause ive killed a bobcat and a yote while deer huntin around that area.HELP ME!!!!!!

There is plenty of fox in Northern Alabama. You might want to try setting up around fence rows and a different bait for your trap. There is an old trapper around here that swears by roasted peanuts for fox. I have never tried it but it seems to work for him.

If what you're doing ain't working, it's time to change things up a little bit.




Change your type of bait and location (you have dug a few dirt holes, correct ?)

If your not seeing tracks or fox it probably doesnt matter what kinda set you put out, theyre not there.Locations important when setting for K9, if your in an area and theyre not your not gonna catch anything.

You have to find out where they are running and what areas theyre using regularly and go from there.
