I think my scent is my problem,would an(small)tarp work,to put my gear and me on??

I am not sure about a small tarp but it probally wouldn't hurt none.. I would be using some rubber boots and rubber gloves though when setting them.. Also we used to take and put some fox scent on a few branches nearby.. Do you boil your traps before using to help get the scent off them as well? We used to use squirrel that we put in a bottle to let rot for a while.. Man that stuff would stink, but it drew our furbearers pretty good.. Good luck to you..
