Wanted to get a .22lr for small game hunting and decided im going to get a bolt action. Anybody have any tips on a good quality, accurate gun?

It's really hard to beat CZ for price vs accuracy. If you want to stay under $200.00 Marlin 925 and the Savage's are very good.

i really live the savages...they are priced right for sure! I sell them under 200$...they are pretty popular around here

I have to Marlin 925R. I got it for a steal from the local hardware store. It's really very accurate, surprisingly. With Fiocchi standard velocity ammo I can continually increase the size of the same hole in a soup can at 80yds.
That said, you can't beat the trigger in the Savages! |
I know you said bolt action.. but, you cant beat a ruger 10/22

only thing about the the 10/22 is your going to have to work on the trigger aS soon as you get it home. there is no comparison to a quality bolt action in my opinion.

The Ruger 10/22 is a nice .22 and if it doesn't shoot as well as you want they make enough aftermarket parts to make it do about anything you could ask for. You can also make it look like about anything under the sun. As for bolt actions I have been looking awful hard at the CZ's. I think it will be my next rimfire rifle.
