Trapping Coyotes in Minnesota
Hi all, I am new to trapping and look to start targeting Coyotes do you guys have any suggestions on what type of trap is best for coyotes? Also any other useful information is appreciated.
Thanks! |
Get some #1 3/4 or #2 coil spring traps. Work great for yotes and other critters.

MB-650 or a Bridger modified #3. The MB is a very solid trap and easy to bed but will take a little bigger hole than the bridger. They both have a big pan/target area which is helpful when you are learning. Coyotes will destroy a trap that hasn't been modified and both of these are beefy and can take a lot of punishment. The MB is bomb proof.

i agree with mez. those are the two brands i use. if you have the $$ get the mb-650 it is a solid trap. as far as the bridger i use a 4 coil #2 with laminated and offset jaws. cant go wrong with either.
