Where do i go to hunt?
 
i dont own any private land and non of my relatives do either...are there any public hunting grounds that i cant go to to hunt small game?

Find what looks like the best hunting / farm land in your area.




Find out who owns it and ask for permission.




You might want to offer "something" in exchange for permission to hunt the land.




Often, a lot of the farmers / land owners know one another.................first impressions are important !!!

If you know any1 with private land ask them if you can hunt there!

talk to your D.N.R. they will tell you of the public hunting land around you.

Most farmers appreciate having varmints removed from their property, especially woodchucks, weasels, and coyotes. Getting permission for squirrels and rabbits may take some sacrifice on your part, take out the varmints and then ask about tastier critters. Pitching hay shows sincerity, though lesser chores could do the trick. Be polite, ask nicely, don't dress in camo. Once you get in cultivate the relationship like the gold that it is.

Can't tell you where to go without knowing where ya started from.

Important information -

what you want to hunt
how far you want to travel
what type of weapon you will use
what you are willing to do for the permission
how many people will be hunting with you
when you want to hunt
