What's your favorite rabbit gun for hunting over beagles? Make and model, and why?

My foavourite rabbbit gun is a little L.C. Smith, 20 ga. double barrel. It comes up fast, points right on anda is a joy to shoot. I have never hunted over beagles, but if I did I'd still use that little gun. BTW it was my grandfather's.

I use a single shot H&R Parner 12 gauge.

I like the gamo 177, but not over dogs,,, over my beans and tomatoes.

I hunt rabbits over Bassets, not Beagles. But I just love my Stoeger .410 SxS. It's light. Easy to carry. Comes up to the shoulder great, and I can't seem to miss with it.

I too like the stoger SxS 410, fast, lite and fun. Also run a stoger o/u 20.

20g Remington 870 shooting 7 1/2s. Doesn't take much to kill a rabbit.

i use a rem 870 20ga. if we have several people. if its just me it use a moss o/u 12ga........tony

I like My Mossberg pump action 410 gauge or my mossberg pump 20 gauge they are not as heavy

Mossberg Model 500 12 ga.

I use a remington speedmaster 22.

I like rem. 870 express 20 gauge

i dont hunt with dogs but if i did i would still use my stevens 20 ga single its my all around shotgun i use it for partridge rabbits squirrels and even before i got my rifle i used it for deer it a great gun

if i got serious about huntin rabbits with dogs,id get a remington 870 youth model 20 gauge.reason:light,compact(er),fairly fast handleing.i walk around the edges of green fields right at dusk,with my 17 HMR.

I either use my survival .22 or my 20 gauge.

I shoot a Franchi 620; semi-auto with 24" barrel weighs in at 6 lbs or so. IC choke with 5 shot works very well on them.

no matter if im hunting over dogs or by my self i use an old mossberg 500 20ga. its light and very smooth and i just cant miss:fighting0007::barmy:

Everyone can hit a rabbit with a scattergun so i usually use a 22 or 17 hmr.

T/C Contender 14" barrel 3" .410 with a load of #6's. Works great and carries even better.
