Find an Indian Preserve, or a try to contact a native American, ask them to hunt, the guys land I hunted on, all he asked for was a bottle of whiskey, he let me hunt as long as I wanted.

Did you get a tribal license? Have to be a little careful with that, you need to purchase a special hunting license for the reservation and the Tribal Wardens will enforce that policy.

I talked to the reservation and they passed anew law that all hunts must now be guided so now I am looking for private land or non indian public land in north dakota to hunt.

Get a BLM map and then call the local offices. There are a lot of prarie dogs on BLM land. It is public hunting. You may have to walk in from a road but still a lot of opportunity to shoot.

We have thousands of acres of National Forest and National Grassland here in northwest Nebraska. It is free to hunt and maps are available at any forest service office.
