Need answers on spotlight
I would like to start hunting coyotes at night. Even with a red lense on a spotlight can a light be too bright. I live in North Georgia so I shouldn't be shootig over 100 yards much at often.

there are some that will argue this point but i believe a light can be to bright.but at times you need a bright light so there for your light must have a reostat(dimmer switch) on it.www.huntsmart.com

RE: Need answers on spotlight
Thanx, I've been looking at some lights in the nite light catalog but not sure what to get

RE: Need answers on spotlight
Some of the guys I know make their own lights with two intensities. Low for seeing eyes at night and a high beam for identifying the critter before the shot. You don't need much of a light to pick up a pair of eyes a long ways away.

close to 20 years ago i purchased the coon hunters favorite light from nite lite, its still going strong.scanning thru there catalog, the tracker looks like a nice compact unit for a good price.the one you probly should go for is either the coon hunters favorite or the holagen pro.the wizzard dosn't look bad either.just make sure it has a ren lens with it and it has what they call the rheohead ajustable beam head lamp.
