Squirrels

Could anyone recommend the best type of gun for shooting squirrels and pigeons? I live in England, so would be limited to an air rifle in my back yard.

Thanks

We don't get many bears here...

I believe Gamo makes one called the "Whisper". They claim it is the quietest air rifle ever made. The faster the better. Good luck. Let us know what you get.

Our recommendations are going to be a bit off for you. The UK is limited to 12 foot lbs of energy or has to be registered. This will cut you to around 800 fps in .177 and 600 fps in .22. Here are two that are good for hunting with the reduced power you need. Springers are fine too. They just require a bit more practice to get accurate with.

Here is a good place for reviews on air rifles.
