22mag vs. 22h
 
well out of the 2 i would want a 22 hornet but right now i think im going with the mag.
as of the ammo is cheaper :)
any one have a marlin 22 mag? they would like to part with?

I would go with .22mag ammo is much cheaper, as well as rifles. I've not shot a .22mag before, but I've heard good things about them and did a quite a bit of research when deciding between it and .17HMR. Marlin's are great guns too so good choice. Honestly I would go with .17HMR over .22mag though. Much flatter trajectory, better groups, farther range. Depends on what you want to hunt though. That's my two cents.

yeah the only thing with a 17hmr is it is a light bullet and a windy day can change your shooting. that why i am looking at the 22mag.

i have a 22mag. and an 22. h for distance i always go with the22. hornet also its aheaver bullet
but the mag is aslo good to

yep i had a 22h to use for a few months its a nice gun
