will the yotes still be as active if the weather warms up here the temp used to be in the sigal digits then to day it warmed up to 43 degres farenhite so wat do i do wait till it get colder or will it be fine to hunt them right now..........and also there is a bout a foot of snow here not all of it melted

I'm in AZ and its 70 out and the yotes are every where.

It's all relative, in that if you live in an area that the day time average temps. are 45 for instance, then the coyotes will be well adapted to live on a regular diet, meaning no extra hunting time or effort will be put forth to survive, for tehose average temps.. They obviosuly still have to eat, but not any more than they do on a regular basis. BUT, if the temps. fall a lot below the average temp. in your area, especially if the temps. stay low for several days, then the coyotes will have to up thier food intake to survive.
Several other factors come into play also, coyote density and food availability are key to the call-ability of the coyotes. SO, sure in AZ. coyotes come to the call all the time in 70 degree temps., BUT high coyote density and low food availability come into play. Lower coyote density and high food availibility will make it more difficult to call a coyote no matter the temps., BUT drop the temps. about 30 degrees below normal for a week, then the coyotes become much more callable., because they have to eat more and eat more often when the temps. are well below what they are adapted for.
Hope that makes some sense. Short of my answer is, will they be as active, NO. Will you need to wait for it to get cold again, NO. We're coming into the breeding season. So with the warmer temps. and breeding season right around the corner, plan on using more coyote vocals and plan on sitting on stand longer.
