Default looking for a coyote gun

im looking for a coyote gun for around 400.00 and under
any one got one?
i want to get a bolt action

I like to use a savage mark ii 17 bolt action. it was $209.00. i also like my 22-250.

Sometimes you can get a Remington 700 on sale for under $400. I bought a Remington 770 in .243 (all calibers available) with a bushnell 3x9x40 boresighted for $335 at wal-mart

I would recommend the .223 or .204. The .204 will be flatter shooting but the .223 will offer wider bullet choices (weight wise). I have both.

Important to point out that a Remington 770 is not a 700. Not even close.

Stevens in .223 or .243. .243 would get my vote. .223 could double as a PD rifle and not be a barrel burner.
