Grain sized bullet for 22-250

What size bullet should i experement with for my 22-250? This will be only a coyote gun, i was thinking 50 gr or 55 gr, leaning towards 50 gr. What do you think?

yip, the 50 gr. is a good starting point. I used 50 gr. bullets exclusively in my 22-250 for years with great results.

If you want to save furs than do yourself a favor and work up a load with Sierra 55gr Gamekings #1365 bullets. These are tougher and will yield quarter sized exits that are easy to deal with. A close second choice would be the Hornady 52gr Match Hp. They usually don't exit, but will hold together and penetrate better than varmint type bullets. the 22-250 is a very good choice for killing coyotes and with the right bullet can be good for hides as well.
