Fox squirrels must look a little different where you are. In North Florida they're more of a silvery color with a black/dark band across their eyes. I'm sure there are different variations of them everywhere they're located.

Thats a pretty big squirrel,I bet that sucker would be tough fried but would make a good mess of squirrel and dumplins!!I like the rust colored fox squirrels did he have the light colored face?

I saw a big one this year while deer hunting with my dad. We were sitting in a ground blind and my dad just started laughing when he saw it and then when I saw it we were both cracking up! The thing looked like agood sized coonin squirrel skin! That thing was huge!
