buckshot for coyotes?
 

have any of you thought of using 00 buckshot for coyotes i dont have a rifle also i have #4 remington long range express loads im low on funds too

4 buck is a better choice than the 00 buck. The 00 buck will work, but the fuller pattern of #4 buck does real good.

umm i suggest you get a rifle for longer range shots like a 223 or 243 but a shot gun will work fine my favorite is my dads kentender30-30 pistol it packs a punch

If you're going to use a shotgun for coyotes, thereis no better load than Hevishot Dead Coyote. It is hevishot alloy made in T shot size. It really knocks them dead at longer ranges than you can reliably hit them with 4 buck. More pellets, denser pattern and the heavier, denser alloy really hits hard. There's a reason its called 'Dead Coyote'.

The dead coyote stuff works good but it cost alot.If you are calling them in close the #4 buck will work also.Good luck.

How much further will the Dead Coyote extend your range. I like to carry a 12 gauge full choke in a 36 inch barrel loaded with #4 buckshot from time to time.
