opossum for bait?
 

Does anything like bobcat or coyote go for opposum as bait in a bucket set? I sold my coons and coyotes but the buyer didn't want the opossums. Just wondering since I didn't have anything else to do with them.

I can think of plenty of things that i would use before falling back on possums for bait. What did you get for the coons?

I got $10 for coons and coyotes. Last week my budy went to sell to the same guy and he was giving $8.00 for coons. I asked why he went up and he said so we keep coming back. Works for me. I have no other use for the opossoms so I guess I can just freeze them for now.

Was it a 10 average for them? Did he tell you what he is paying by size?

$10.00 is the best he pays large coons. He paid $10.00 for 4 of mine and $5.00 for the other 2 nasty looking coons.

Same with me I get $10 for my bigger coons and $5 for smaller ones.

for some reason i have never had any animal gofor a possum for bait........ we put a squirrel in one night after we hada possumin as bait for a week, first night with squirrel, caught a bob cat
