I trap around a creek or branch, running water always draws coons.I am not a great trapper, most of the trapping I do is for farmers who have coon problems.I have caught many coons around barns and grain storage areas, they eat livestock feed and bed on top of the hay way up high in the back of hay barns. But I still trap a lot of these barn dwelling coons at the nearest water hole.

Theres alot of good areas...i like to use the tree lines of a corn fields, or along a tree line with alot of den trees, or a area thats rly thick but has some little openingsor clear spots and just put some corn out or my favorite Homeade mix...1. Sardines or Mackeral prolly 2 or 3, 2. Few bits of crack corn, 3. Lots of peanut butter, 4.Grape Jelly, and 5. A Banana (thats sliced)

I go fing run ways that have brush hanging low and sometimes you can make a trail leading off another one and that will drawl them away to your sets
