Im getting me a new coyote gun and cant decide which caliber. One has more speed, one has more knockdown power.......

What do you guys think?

If I had to pick.... I have a good friend that purchased a 204 that I pushed him to and I have seen him spank the heck out of coyotes with it... No issues what so ever....

In my years of calling predators, I have gone through the progression of down sizing in caliber. Last winter was my first full season with my .204, down sized from the 22-250, and I have no regrets.

I've been shooting the 22-250 for about five years now and love it.

I don't think you will have any complaints or problems from either one.

22-250 is a great gun but i hunt fur and its not the easiest on pelts and the 204 is the BOMB for speed,accuracy,less pelt damage,andif ur wnatin to blow the hellout of stuff get some low grain vamx and make it rain.

I'm of the firm belief that the old .220 swift is the ultimate yote round for long range.:)

Coyote only? Coyote and varmit? If your only shooting yotes I would personally consider a AR in .204rug, but if it is really a mix and you can shoot out to 400+ I would probably go .22-250
