Dennis Kirk Electric Call?
 

Hey guys, I'm Jim.I've never posted in here before but I'm going to start hunting coyotes and I need a little advice. I was looking at a Dennis Kirk electric call, the kind where you just pop in a tape recording of calls and it blares them through a speaker. The main reason I'm starting to hunt them is because they're getting overpopulated here, ruining our quail and turkey populations, and probably screwing with the newborn deer every year too. Has anybody used the call i'm talking about, and if so, is it any good? thanks.

Welcome to the forum, truth is almost any call can bring a dog into shooting range. Just some are more consistant. I've never used or heard the one your talking about, but I'm sure if you make a good set up, you can kill some coyotes.

I think that electronic calls that utilize mp3 players are a little better becuase of the sound clarity and remote usage that u have.

thanks for the replies guys. any words of wisdom on coyote hunting? things to watchfor and avoid, something like that? I'm a long time deer hunter but the only coyote experience I have is busting the ones that walk by my deer stands.
