Air Gun = Coyote
 

Hey does anyone know if a 600 fps Air Rifle using pellets kill a coyote? I am currently using a 30# bow and i am trying to get my first coyote in ohio. If anyone could please help me with any information you have please let me know as soon as possiable. I am going out saturday so anyone who can help me before that would be great but if you can't please leave me a message or reply on here anyway! Thanks for everyone's help and good luck to everyone else.

600 fps is only enough to kill a squirrel,if I were you I would use the bow with a very sharp broadhead and get them in close.GOOD LUCK!!

600fps will not do the job...there are others that will do a way better job...PM me and I will send you some links, I have a airgun that will take down a hog.

Why not just use a rilfle?

Or a shotgun even, that wouldbe easererthan a bow. Just a little more forgiving than a bow.

i have a 1000fps pellet gun and sometimes i don't even kill birds right away with one shot so 600 will not do it

I shot a ferel cat once with a 600fps air gun 6 times and it didn't kill it! At least not right away!!!

If you want to hunt coyote with an airgun, do it at short range using a bigbore air rifle. Don't pay those Gamo commercials any mind.

I'm going after them with my SamYang 909 .454 here in a couple of weeks. Giving the pelts some time to prime-up!

You may be suprised,A 50 cal. air gun at even 40 or 50 yards will do a number on just about anything.

No go on the air gun. A .22lr is very small for coyotes some people would even say that they won't work.
