I will shoot any cat on my property as they will (and do) take care of the small game populations...they are especially devastating to the grouse population (primarily the nests in the spring) by us. So if I see one, that sucker better pray that I'm having an off day with my Savage (and that doesn't happen much).

That looks like the cluster of cats hanging around my parents back porch door, half of which always seem to be pregnant. I have fantasies about opening up on them with a semiauto .22, but constantly get voted down by a cats rights coalition consisting of my Mom, sister, two nieces, and my 4.5 year old son.

Why would you trap and relocatethem when they are a problem all over. They live all over here wild and eat a ton of ruffed grouse and in the spring they eat all the little chicks too, it pisses me off, and then they breed like rabbits.

indiana doesnt have a stateleash law on cats as well as most states and countysin the united states because of the fact its too hard to enforce...........i trap themand they all come with me to the animal shelter. they get 72 hours for the owner to claim them after that. if they are too wild to be adopted they getput down.

Once on my property they're in violation of both the state and county leash laws, the only reason they come here is the bunnys I've been cultivating for four years and consider a valuable asset to my property, which makes them fair game and possum chow in the making.There's a black and white one that skulks my land occasionally, and he's already had his one warning shot, next time it's the turkey choke/7.5s and no sympathy. |
