SO, just curious, do you live under the same roof as your dad? Apparently, since that's the phone number and Email address that they had for your contact? IF that's not the case, why are they contacting him, and not you!!

It sounds like they had no reason not to beleive that they would be able to deliver your caller on time, so why not charge your card at the time of the order. SO then they had problems getting a circuit board from one of their contractors? Apparently? Just guessing here, that thier circuit board makers were probably promising the baords by a certain date, and they failed to deliver?
BUT again, I'm curious as to why they would contact your dad unless you live under the same roof and your dad failed to tell you that they had indeed been trying to be in contact with you about your order!!

Look, you aren't listening and you don't know the situation.

They NEVER contacted me or my dad about anything.

I placed the order with them. It's my damn phone number, my credit card.

We BOTH tried for weeks to get a hold of them to see what the status of the order was.

I never recieved any answer or acknowledgment of my emails or calls.

The reason he emailed my father was because he was also calling and emailing to try to get a response.

Please keep in mind this was yesterday.

Prior to that time they had not said or done anything besides take my money the day of the order.

What part of that do you not understand?

Who appointed you mediator? You don't know what the situation is, that is obvious.

Casey,

I just talked to your dad again today. We have been in contact with him since you placed the order? Just like I emailed himyou will be receiving tracking information tomorrow on your M1/Sidewinder combo order. I am sorry for the delay and I can promise you that we have done everything we possibly could to get our circuit boards in as quickly as possible. They will start shipping out tomorrow. I thank you for your patients.
Just got the email thanks. When I get the package everything will be resolved.

My next quesiton is, if this is the way things go, what is the warranty service going to be like?

This isn't an isolated incident. I"ve talked to vendors and they were getting complaints also.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtpoutwbe07.prod.mesa1.secureserver.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

I tried to email you earlier and it bounced back. I would guess that the email address is not correct that we had on file.

I am not denying that I wish this was handled differently! I do not answer the phone on a regular basis and just happened to be the one yesterday that did. If you can please shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will send you tracking information again right now.

Thank you,

Default This is to everyone waiting for a reason...

Why Minaska Outdoors has not been able to fill orders as planned.

To start off with we relocated our entire operation almost next door to our engineers 60,000+ Sq ft building to better serve our customers. Just before making this move we placed a large order for circuit boards and paid thousands of dollars in advance for the boards with the understanding that they would be delivered shortly after getting into our new facility.

We made the move into our new facility and continued to check the status of our circuit board order that was supposed to be received around the 4th of July. We then started finding it hard to get into contact with our engineering firm always leaving a message or talking to their assistant… "Ohthey are at a product show in Chicago" etc. Finally we had to confront these individuals to see what the delay was.

We then found out the boards were never ordered and our engineers had larger customers than us to worry about so they were not going to be able to deliver. We also learned that all of our parts and the thousands of dollars they had were now suddenly something we were going to have to get our attorneys involved with and are currently fighting just to get back what was ours. Some of the parts are very hard to find and in turn caused us more of a delay.

We scrambled to find a new engineering firm that we felt comfortable working with and we did find one that is so far superior to the ones that we did have that it will be a blessing once this whole mess is all cleaned up and we can begin to move forward with them. Our new engineering team has extensive audio and RF expertise (very exciting things will be coming)!

We are very pleased with our new team! They are running our circuit boards and orders have begun to ship out. We apologize for the delays and assure you that we are doing everything humanly possible to make this up to our customers.

We will have our new remote membranes very soon (2 weeks or less) and begin to ship them out with each new order (included with all back orders at no additional charge) as well as offer them as an upgrade to existing customers. AND YES CASEY WE WILL SHIP YOU OUT A NEW MEMBRANE FOR YOUR ANGUISH!

We will also be including “something extra” (to make up for this extreme test of your patients) with your orders. I understand that this does not make up for the amount of time you have been waiting for your order but I am confident your purchase will have been worth the wait.

As for your questions about our warranty service… aside from the struggles we have been having as a result of this situation we are regarded as having a very high quality of customer service and we will continue to offer the best customer service possible! We stand behind our products 100%. We always have and we always will take care of our customers!

Minaska is one of only 2 game call manufacturers that are engineered, tested, assembled and 100% MADE IN THE USA.

I am in anguish and displeasure and might be in a bit of shock. I think Steve should send me a free caller for my trauma I took from reading this post.

I was thinking about a new fox pro fury with some of my trapping funds. But I have heard alot of bad things about their distance is not up to par as for wireless.Does your callers have good ranges and do they spport multiple sounds be played together at different volumes and faders? And can it run a jack in the box from the caller indipendant?

sammy_tat as far as distance go's, I play my FX3 100 to 200yd aways with no problem even in the cold and I live in Alaska -20 to -60 in the winter. I have owned 3 electronic wireless callers foxpro sounds the best out of all of them and othercallers I have heard. On the FX3 no you can't play multiple sounds. On the new 1, I don't know about that 1 but yes you can run a jack in the box from the caller indipendant. hands down Foxpro is the best electronic wireless caller. I can't see paying $600 and more for the FX5over the FX3 what the FX5 has over the FX3 it's not worth the extra money.. [:-]
Hope this helps

sammy tat,

I think you were asking me the question?

We test all of our callers on the ground at 400yards. We use them personally in normal midwest hunting situationsin our area at much shorter distances (50-75yrds)but out west we will put it out there closer to 200 yrds+ on the ground with no problems.

The long and the short of it is the Fury is using a different technology and I think they are just working the bugs out. We use the same wireless technology as their FX series callers. For optimal range if possible you can elevate the caller off of the ground or hang it in a tree... just getting itup off the ground at all will help with range and reliability.

Through software you can mix your own sounds to have a sound coming out off one speaker and a different sound coming out of the other speaker... but to change speakersfrom the remote is not an option at this time.

Yes you can run the Jack-in-the-box from your callers with the remote.
