Woo hoo...5 points!!

Howler, I nominate Kydeerhunter03 to be my teams official spokesperson! If you Westerners get beat by a guy from Southern Indiana and a girl from Northern Kentucky- you should be ashamed!

No luck for me today. I called in a redish-brown coyote, but couldn't pull the trigger on him. Had a white spot on his left cheek and he just looked so damn cool that I didn't want to destroy the pelt with my .243. This might be the first one that I skin so I will take the .223 out with me next time and if I see him again, put a more friendly bullet in him.

#40, that must be nice to be picky like that... Here in Illinois.. You see it you kill it, we only have so many to deal with...

and Congrats on the Red... KYDeer....

I hunted hard Saturday Morning... First stand called and asI was pulling the plug and walking off one started to bark at me... The funny thing I think it is the same one that did it to me. Made 3 more stands and all blanks.... I got home, and got the chills had a 102 degree fever and slept for 16 hours... Talk about screwing up a good weekend... But Im back.. So look for some fur this week....

I made a call saterday morning, had three come out of a gravel pit just sitting on a stock pile about a half mile away. I sang every song I had, no way to re-set on them so I was hosed. It was a little windy, could explain it I spose. Next time!!!

Aim high and into the wind. That far, I doubt that they would hear much that would keep them from showing up next time.

Way to far to ever take a shot at, for me,but they did hear it. they came up on top of the pile and just sat tight. Just a matter of time, once it gets good, and cold they will come in for a shot. a couple years ago I called a old three legged dog up to about a half mile away, three, or four times. Never got a shot, until I was rattleing that same year, and he came in to that. It was his last year!!
