JRB - Thats a mighty fine pile of fur you got there! Good goin!

Howler - I know how those days go, believe me! I figured it was just easier to watch 'em walk instead of busting one of my best calling spots.....If the national weather service ain't lyin to me, tomorrow the wind will be right to hit that stand again, if I can get to it. I may end up walking 2 miles in just to call this one spot after the last blizzard we had.

Those are 3-1/2" Heavy Shot BB's. I shot it 7 or 8 times that night... my shoulder was sore.

I'm shake'n in my boots Jrb!! Bring it on!!Thing is, out in my backyard, I don't have a road every mile, so a man that wants to kill numbers actually has to walk more than a 1/4 mile from a road. Not uncommon to walk several miles a day, and I'm not convinced that you're man enough to handle that part, let alone, out produce numbers close to 5:1!!

Ohhhhhhh!!! You don't know where I live apparently. I'm not from Central or Northern Indiana... I'm in the Southernpart with 24,000 acre woods and 40 mile horse trails. Every coyote you see in that pile was at least 1/2 mile from the truck when he died... an we can't fita truck between the trees to drive around ina prarie like you guys.

I'd carry you over the hills- and outshoot ya- but I don't know if I could adapt to calling that wide open country quick enough to outhunt you 5:1. Maybe I should say 3:1 so we can both agree? LOL!

This is getting interesting now. Good to see you posting some pictures, Jrb. Had me worried for a while.

I propose a combination of teams. #1 and #3! All in favor, say I. I !!!

Or just a swap. Me and petemixer.

I am going to have to really get after it to even keep up with you guys. Sure would be nice to see a single beat up on the rest of you though.

Good shooting, Howler.

i was using my dan thompson howler and started off with a couple interrogation howls. sat there for about 10 min or so and got a response of 2 short screeching howls. it sounded like a couple hundred yards away. i did one more howl and sat tight. she came right by me along the edge of a dirt road may 5-10min after.
