A liveanimal from a foot-hold trap? Protective gear aside, I don't feel like being bitten from my stupidity of attempting to learn on my own.Bestowe some knowledge on me.

What tools are useful for releasing unwanted game?

A long stick and some one else to poke the trap for you LoL
While you film it.

Throw a jacket or carry an extra blanket and throw it over them. Then step on their necks and release them. It works on bob cats and smaller than 15lb coons quite nice. Everything else that is legal I will kill and keep.
