never smoke while or before hunting because the scent lingers on your clothing and all that will come to you over time would be CANCER.

another good idea is if you have two shooters, one guy with a rifle, one with a shotgun. If you hunt them long enough you WILL have some come in the back door on ya. A shotgun can really come in handy in those cases, or when they come in hard and fast, and you can't bark stop'em, that will happen also.
