Default Need advice on ammo selection

so i ordered the Savage 11FCNS today in 22-250. it has the 1:12 twist with a 22" barrel and wanted to know what factory/off the shelf ammo you guys suggest trying? also what range in bullet weight should i stay in for my twist? i know all ammo is different per rifle but need some recomendations on what to try til i find my perfect match. i will be hunting coyotes in the desert. thanks.

I shoot reloads, BUT I'd recommend something in the 50 gr. catagory. It's the middle of the road for the 22-250 and it should give you a good starting point. As far as which brand and bullet, I like ballistic tips but have used soft points andhollow points, and I'm not faithful to any one bullet manufacturer.
