How o I field dress a yote and do I really have to?
I'm 14 yr. olda NJ hunter and recently became interested in coyote hunting. I was wondering how do you field dress a coyote and do you really have too if you aren't eating it.

I dont think Ive been hungry enough to eat a yote. They stink pretty bad. Keep him cold as you can, and skin him quick in this kind of heat or it will start slipping fur. Lots of coyote videos and instruction on the wildlife pro network. Go on and log in and tell em Mike Flick sent ya.

Well tellya what Nicky, When you get a coyote, and go and pick him up, you'll think twice about ever eatin one. They do tend to get pretty ripe smellin. Good luck killin some, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

DO NOT put it in a BLACK plastic bag.
Black plastic will hold heat and make the fur go bad real fast.
A taxidermy teacher told me this.
He said use clear or white, NEVER NEVER use black.
Good Luck
