Crow Hunting
I have done this in the past, but have gotten into it more this year, w/ electronic caller and decoys. What a blast! Great practice for duck hunting too.
Anyone else hunting crows? |
RE: Crow Hunting
I LOVE to crow hunt! We have a spread of about 30 decoys and electronic caller. Tons of fun! We normally hunt the most in Feb and March while waiting on Spring Gobbler season to come in.

LMAO!!!
Last year was my first time. I was on restricted firearm area and no lead shothuntin yotes. Wasn't doing anything so I picked up the gear anddrove to a new area. When I saw big cluster of crows and got the idea of hunting them. So there was a spot down the road and pulled over grabed the gear FX3 & the moss 500 walked in about 100yrds put the fx3 on and down. The sound was crow fight. I figured I'd have time to get to my spot to finish setting up. WRONG!!!! Just made it to some cover and it was ALFRED HITCHCOCK THE BIRDS! I couldn't load the shotgun fast enough :DMan O man what a blast! Just have to find more areas that aren't lead restricted.$10 a box for steel is expensive for crows. But what a ![]() |
