I dont think there is a yote season in texas?
|
RE: Still calling them in.
No yote season in TN either, but they sure are hard to call this time of year.
|
RE: Still calling them in.
Hard to call in??? I think it"s as easy as it is in the dead of winter here in Illinois. Pup season is almost here, and they are just as callable as they ever are. Howler, your right, he did that top one a huge faver, Looks like he went through the wash a couple times..

RE: Still calling them in.
That top one barely has a tail on it. :)
One of my friends said that its easier to call them in during the spring for some reason but idk anything about predator calling so who knows. |
RE: Still calling them in.
I was about to give up when thefirst one pictured came in.
There was something wrong with the second ones left rear foot. It was only walking on three legs when it showed up. Howler, I have been loading like crazy waiting for the PDs. Everytime I want to go the wind is blowing like a mother. Maybe tomorrow will be calm enough. |
RE: Still calling them in.
yeah this spring has been real windy! We're planning on starting on the prairie dogs in a couple of weeks too. I've got plenty of ammo. loaded, just waiting for some warmer calmer weather, and maybe some "little" prairie dogs to show!
