musk rat traps and hunting

does anyone know how to make and set a trap for a muskrat? and do you know what time they are usually out of water? so i can shoot them?

Better check your state regs. Usually you cant shoot them and can only trap them during their trapping season

i saw a muskrat swimming and comming out of the lakeyesterday and sunday around...5 pm
