shot placement on coyotes
 
if i was going coyote hunting with a 22lr. would i shot it in the head, shoulder or neck?

i'd go for the neck. since it's a lr and only has about 134 ft-lbs of energy at the muzzzle, you want the least resistance on the bullet as possible. shoulders have a lot of bone that you might hit, and the head has the skull plate. although, i've never hunted coyotes, that is my best guess.

You dont shoot them with a 22lr then you dont have to worry about where you shoot them

I wouldn't even try to shoot a coyote with a 22lr. Step up to a bigger gun so you dont have any run off to die a slow death
