coyote mouth calls
I've been reading that this late in the season you should start useing more yote sounds than distress sounds. If this is true what are some good coyote howlers and other mouth calls?

I think one of the best, and easyest to use is the tallyho. You can howl, yip, kiyi, and a couple distress, rabitt and fawn.

Primo's hot dog and little dog are good choices also,if you have used diaphram turkey calls primos has some diaphram predator calls that have an excellent sound to them, but this changes with the user since every body uses them differently.I like them because you can just put them in your pocket.I have a knight&hale e-z howler but I hardly ever used it and give it to my little girl to play with, she's ten and learning.good luck!

I think here in Il. we will be back on distress real soon. Yes those diaphram calls are good I like them becouse you can tickel a dog in without having to move at all. No button pushing , no hand movement. I use a elk cow call, I think it works good.
