I use Heavy Dove loads with #6 shot 2 3/4in. inmy 20gauge. I have rolled a few rabbits out at 45 yards with that combo with a modified choke.

My ammo of choice: Remington high brass High Velocity 20 ga. #6 shot BABY!!!

I take my 20ga for rabbits, with 7-1/2, the cheap stuff. Haven't been in awhile though!

1 oz federal 12 guage 2-3/4" 7.5 shot i run with beagles and kill alot of rabbits and RARELY shoot twice at one no matter the shot or range

went with #4's one time. . . . one single time and my best friend took a stupid shot and a nitro mag 4 shot is still in my right arm i REFUSE to use anything over 7.5's
