Little mouse squeeker or electronic predator call

I called a little red fox in by squeeking with the palm of my hand in late December while deer hunting...

I bought a little mouse squeeker..you push on it and it squeeks....if the wind is low and the woods is quiet is this all I will need? Or should I get a dying rabbit call from an electroic caller...do I need all that?

range will be very limited, coyotes sometimes come from farther than you think,if you don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a good mouthcall for a lot less, it aint rocket science to use one successfully. If you snaek within two to three hundred yards of them and it's still, they can hear the mouse squeaker maybe, but you will probably be heard getting that close if you break a stick. You can get a closed reed call for about $10 they are easier to use but freeze up in cold weather,an open reed cost about that or a little more they're a little harder to use but not much you can also howl with them, you dont have to sound like a live rabbit,if a hungry coyote, fox, bobcat,or anything else hears you making that wah-wah sound they are likely to come, if your setup is good.Didnt you kill a fox earlier this year?Thats pretty good assurance that you have a good setup they can smell you about as good as a coyote. An e-caller is great if you got the money and are going to hunt alot.I love my foxpro.
