Crows again

[8D][8D]Who do you crow hunters think makes the best electronic call
with sounds of --CROW GATHERING- I like to hunt them with a
rifle and have decoys to use..Would like to get a remote control
caller sometime soon..Thanks for you replies...

RE: Crows again

I can usually get their attention with Johnny Stewart's Crow Reville tape, but the past few years it hasn't seemed to work quite as well- probably because there are a bunch of other people using the same tape and the crows are getting educated.

I assume/hope you get them to land before shooting??? Otherwise you better warn the neighbors to stay inside.

Johnny Stewart makes the best calls in my opinion. I like the reville or crow and owl fight. I usually rotate them so they don't get used to hearing the same one. They also make some good cottontail distress calls and crows will come to that too.

RE: Crows again

I leave my Johnny Stewart call in my truck tape player, If im out driving around and see some crows I stop under a tree and start playing, this tactic usually works(the crows in my area are half retarded). One time I turned it on full volumne, and went walking through the woods, I was about a 100 yards way and the tape ran out, then it switched to radio!:D
