Texas Public Land Hunt
 

I was wondering what public land areas people liked in Texas. Im lookin to dosome hog and coyote hunts pretty soon but didnt know where to go.
All adviceand tipsare appreciated

Try checking in the Turkey (Texas town - I promise), Childress, Paduca areas. I can't remember exactly where the hunting areas are located but I know that they had tons of hogs and was lots of fun (plus it was never over populated with hunters but maybe with pigs). I found them using the Texas Parks & Wildlife website searching for public hunting land. Hope that helps. If it doesn't I got a place just 60 miles north of Abilene on highway 83 (north of a small town called Aspermont) I like to help out other hunters, I know how hard it is to find a place to go hunting anymore. I especially like to help out fathers with their kids (taking them hunting is a thrill) because I think it is important to build those bonds with your kids (I have 4 - 3 boys and a little girl, and they are all good shots and enjoy hunting fishing etc...
