going carbon 10/22 ruger

[align=left]I'm looking to up date my 8 year old standard 10/22 ruger. Was thinkging about going with the new carbon barrels. That seems to be the trend now. I thought about the bull barrels but after trying out a buddy's, the weight turned me off. I suppose if you were hunting in a flat hard wood forest grove, bull barrels are fine. Since my hunting locations are filled with Mountainness Bluffs, not ideal for heavy loads, bull barrels are out of the question.

Over hunted squirrels on public land are hard enough to spot, yet alone get off a clean shot.

Hunting with my Ruger for this long, it is hard to go any heavier than I have to.

My question is, with all the after market carbon fiber barrels out there, is there one that you would recommend? What are the pros and cons of going carbon? What ave been your experience with these carbon barrels? The only one I have access to is the Bulter Creek. It seems cheaply assembled and would chip with out much effort. Any info would help.
