Hi Folks,

Here is a Canadian Perspective on trapping. In Canada we still own exclusive Traplines.Mine is 300 sqaure miles ! In BC we trap martin,Lynx,Bobcat, coyote,wolf,mink,fisher,beaver,muskrats,squirrels, etc..Martin are worth are a $100. My friend that are 74 last year took 185 martin. Do the math. I have friends that make 20,000 - 50'000 per year. Full time trappers. It is one of the best kept secrets..You buy a Trapline for about 10,000. Then you can build a cabin on it.You only Trap for a 3 mounths but you must prepare through otu the summer. The dream is alive a well. There is a new generation or Trappers coming up in BC and Alta.We are looking for a wilderness lifestyle and we are not gamers ! Anyone else looking to get back to this life....That is what we do.Hunt, Guide, Trap and fish..oh ya raise 4 boys and what ever else my wife tells me...lol

Yes it is....you just have to dress for it...? Theres something about getting away from the Rat race..as I get older I relize what crock it is .....
