.22-250

I have a Savage model 10 predator in .22-250 that I like for calling fox and coyotes. My problem is I can't seem to find a load that doesn't leave baseball sized exit holes. Just wondering if anyone new of any good factory loads thatshould trymight try.

I also have a Stevens model 200 in.223 , its a lot lighter and I only have a 3-9X40 scope on it, I like to use this gun mainly for walking but if i can't find anything less damaging for the 22-250 it might be getting a lot more action.

Thanks in advance for any input

Tom

Well, I am not much on bullets and exit holes, but I would think that a full metal jacket would go in and come out just about the same size... but I don't know much about it...

I personally like my .223 encore. Its long range gives me a lot of versatility, but i really dont get those baseball holes so id stick with ur .223. Plus, if its a savage u cant reallu go wrong.
