It is for right now. The war has really pushed ammo prices up for consumers. Most all the major ammo companies contract to the defense department and direct significant resourses in that direction.

Makes the domestic price go up.

i see it going alot high and i planeon doing some stocking up in more then one way
we are head to a big confrontation with iran that i think will pit us against both russia and china and will send the price of oil into the space and may even send ous into ww3
we all know that the goverments in the middle east wonts to wipe us of the map and the only way they can do that is with a nuke and no rep. will let that happen so look for ammo guns gas and everything to go high over the next 4 years ever watch the show jericho

Low brass? That sounds really expensive, what kind of shells? I can get a box of low brass cheapy remington or winchesters for $4.50 and high brass good rabbit shot for $8.50

RE: price

Not just the war causing the price increase. The booming economy in China and India are one the major causes for price increases, since they are competing for lead, nickle, and other raw materials.
