204 for Coyotes?
 

IM going on a Coyote hunt sometime in the near future. I plan on taking my 204 to hunt with mostly and my shotgun as a backup. Right now im shooting 32gr Remington Accutips. Will these work well on coyotes? Where we are hunting the shot will be 200 yards max. Im on my last box of the Remington ammo and am planning on switching to Hornady 40gr V-Max when i get more ammo but i prob wont have any before i go Coyote hunting. Thanks for anyones help.

I've heard, and read of guys having problems anchoring coyotes with the poly tipped bullets. Sounds like if you aim to miss the shoulder, the poly tips do a fine job with no exit.
I reload and have been using the 40 gr. and the 35 gr. Berger bullets and have been very pleased so far on the 14 that I've shotthis winter. Longest shot to date was 200 yards.

OK thanks alot. I was thinking about just going for head shots on the farther shots.
