Coyotes pelts

I have 2 questions. How much can you get for a coyote pelt and how do you process coyotes so you can sell the pelts?

The price is gonna vary according to the size, quality of fur, and the state. Last year for the lower Midwest i think that 15 to 30 would be a rough price range. Some furbuyers will buy them whole, while others require you to skin it. Folks that really know their stuff can skin, stretch and dry the furs, which makes the fur fetch a somewhat higher price. Most states have a trapping association with websites and info for beginners. The magazine Fur, Fish, and Game is a good starting point too.
