RE: .22 cal. For Yotes
I dont know why anybody would want to hunt yotes with a 22LR it is not a large enough gun for the job. Yes as stated above if a yote is in a trap it would be ok but come on use some common sense. there are guns made in lots of differet flavors use the ones required for the job to make a clean kill i have been hunting yotes for over 20 years and have taken over 500 of themi have had them run 40 yards even when hit well with a 40 grain bullet out of a 22 center fire so in know way is a 22LR enough gun.

we don't get any money for coyote fur here in ohio any way. use common sense and make an ethical shot. if tis out of range he will be there for another day to hunt and get away from the wife. what about a 12 gauge with buck shot. i heard that some guys have used them. here in northwest ohio we have to watch what we use due to everything being so close.
