Violated the law of "No squirrels in my house!"

Okay, so yesterday my son and I decided to hit the woods for some squirrel action. Well, one thing led to another and we pretty much just goofed off, talked, etc. Before we left, we saw a few squirrels about 20 yards off and opted to pop one.

Normally, we give the squirrels to the landowner that lets us hunt on his property. However, yesterday he wasn't home - so - we took it home. Most would say - "So?". Well, my wife is not thrilled by the thought of squirrels being cleaned and/or cooked in "her" house. :D She got pretty bent out of shape when I let our 2 year old run around the house with it's tail. :D

Well, needless to say, the deal was sealed and it was cooked. Under no circumstances would she try it.Now fellas, how did you convince your significant other to try squirrel - if she really didn't want to?

For now just be thankfull she "allowed" you to bring it into the house and cook it. Every now and then bring a few home and cook them up, ttry not cleaning them in front of her. Eventually she will succumb and may be tempted to try some. I know because i speak from oersonal experience.

Good luck with the squirrel entre. My wife won't even touch the pheasant that me and my daughter eat. I told her it was just a flying chicken, but she wouldn't budge.

I'm going after squirrel tomorrow.
