Use wadcutter pellets at close range, points at longer range, and ALWAYS go for the brain. If you can get them, Predator Polymags are amazing hunting pellets.
Squirrels are tough little critters, don't be surprised if at least one out of your bag limitrequires a second shot.

i hunt alot with airrifles i hunt coons with them, pest birds with them, crows and squirrels with them. your airgun is probably a little week. but if you can get about 15 or so yards from a squirrel and make a head shot it would probably do the job. but if you really want to hunt with air rifles go to www.gamo.com or www.gamoairguns.com

I have killed more squirrels growing up with an Airgun than I can count. Granted, now that i am a little older, I prefer a good .22 any day of the week.

I have a 1,000 FPS Daisy 1000 springer set up for tree rats, it will punch a wadcutter pellet right through both sides of a steel can at 25 yards.

Have hunted everything from birds, frogs, and squirrels to rabbits, coons, and this past weekend back yard ground hogs with my RWS. It fires that pellet at a pretty fast speed, close to 1200 fps. Took the ground hog this weekend from about 18 yds away. head shot. killed instantly. I wouldn't recommend taking shots any farther than 20yds

The 2100 is a great squirrel gun, heck I've killed them w/a Crossman 760. Try some Crow Magnum pellets. WONDERFUL huntin' pellet. I've killed them w/several different types but nothing expands like those do. Most other pellets I would only take head shots but I'm not afraid to take a lung shot w/those.

I am looking to get an air rifle just to do some shooting around my yard. I am curious how much room you need. If I were to get a medium power one. It is fairly wooded, so what do you guys think is enough room. Thanks for the help
