How do you cook your squirrels?

I cut them into pieces and boil them for about 2 hours then batter and fry...

I cook them in a wild game gumbo along with smoked rabbit, turkey, tame chicken, and deer sausage.

It is good. The tradition is for me to do a big pot of it in my dad's garage during deer season. Then a bunch of the local hunters will come in that evening and hang out and drink beer and eat gumbo.

All my dad's family lives in Louisiana. We are the yankee branch, but can cook stuff like that just as good. I really don't work off a set recipe since it is all in my head and can differ from time to time. There are lots of gumbo recipes floating around on the internet, but with some of them you would end up cooking vegetable soup like they do in New Orleans.
