Got out today and shot three ruffed grouse. I used my old 410 this time for a change. When I was walking, I jumped a snowshoe hare (there nearly white now, more of a blueish grey color) and never got a shot at it. Those guysmust bepretty spooky, because I was walking really slowly looking for birds and saw it running full speed through the trees. 3 chickens equals 60 points

[align=left]35 yardsis pushing it. I like a 410, it's just not reallyeffective in thick stuff, so in september I use a 20 gauge and sometimeslater inseason (Oct. and on) ill bring my 410 out. Im going again on sat and will possibly connect with that crafty bunny:) deer season opens next thursday, so might be getting one of those too.[/align]
