I had been hunting for a couple of hours and was really just seeing fox squirrels, so I went over to a different corner of the woods on my way out just to see if I could bag one more grey. Well I looked up and saw the coon climbing up the tree. I think he saw me around about the time I saw him, so I couldn't get a head shot on him so I just shot for his heart. Cracked him once and he fell in the fork of the tree and started groaning. He started tryin to climb again so I popped him two more times. He hit the ground and started running! Couldn't believe it! I popped him again! lol. I saw him two weeks ago and didn't shoot him because the squirrels were cutting good and I didn't wanna scare them. Got him this time.
